ARTIST TUNE-UP / BETA TERMS

Terms of use.

The current terms for accounts, private artist records, public profiles, creative content, opportunities, request routing, and beta features.

CURRENT BETA NOTICE

These pages describe the rules, privacy choices, and reporting routes currently in effect for the beta. If a material change requires a new choice or acceptance, Artist Tune-Up will ask before treating that change as agreed.

1. Operator + beta

Artist Tune-Up is operated by Corey Fletcher. Corey Fletcher is the founder and owner of Artist Tune-Up and its core project-specific intellectual property, subject to artist-owned content and applicable third-party rights. A partnership, sponsorship, cohort, venue, underwriting, or collaboration relationship does not by itself create ownership, equity, governance, joint-venture, or intellectual-property rights in Artist Tune-Up. The service is in beta, so features may change as the platform develops.

2. Eligibility + authority

The current beta is limited to people age 18 or older. You must provide accurate account information and may only create, claim, or manage a profile for yourself or an organization/person you are authorized to represent.

3. Accounts + security

Protect your sign-in credentials and notify Artist Tune-Up if you reasonably believe an account has been compromised. Account confirmation, recovery, correction, export, and deletion routes may include identity and security checks.

4. Private drafts + identity

Artist Tune-Up may organize information you provide and supported public professional sources into a private draft. Automated extraction or organization can be incomplete or wrong. You can review and correct your record before choosing what, if anything, becomes public.

5. Your work + platform permission

You keep ownership of your original creative work. By submitting material, you represent that you own it or have permission to use it and give Artist Tune-Up the nonexclusive permission reasonably needed to store, format, process, display, and distribute it according to your chosen settings and through service providers needed to operate the platform.

6. Publication + sharing

Private record, public-by-link profile, Artist Tune-Up Discover visibility, and external search-engine indexing are separate choices. Public information may be indexed, copied, cached, or retained by others after you later remove it. Artist Tune-Up provides controls to unpublish and request correction or deletion.

7. Opportunities

Third-party opportunity details can change or be inaccurate. Artist Tune-Up does not guarantee selection, compensation, safety, legality, legitimacy, deadlines, or eligibility. Unless a separate agreement says otherwise, a listing does not make Artist Tune-Up the employer, hiring party, guarantor, or payment agent.

8. Booking requests

Where request routing is available, sending a request is not acceptance, a completed booking, or a charge. Unless separately agreed, artist and client remain responsible for their own scope, contract, payment, licensing, insurance, taxes, conduct, and disputes.

9. Paid features

Some subscriptions, contracting, invoicing, deposit/payment, or tax-related features may be limited or unavailable for some accounts during beta. When a paid feature is offered, its price and applicable checkout or service terms are shown before purchase or activation.

10. Prohibited use

Do not impersonate others, submit unauthorized profiles, infringe rights, harass or discriminate, post deceptive opportunities, harvest contacts, scrape the service, share credentials, introduce malware, test security without permission, conduct unlawful marketing, or use the service for scams or exploitation.

11. Moderation + rights reports

Artist Tune-Up may proportionately restrict content or accounts, preserve evidence, or make disputed material private while identity, consent, safety, fraud, or rights questions are reviewed. Copyright, privacy, publicity, impersonation, trademark, harassment, harmful false statements, fraud, and accessibility concerns can be submitted through Rights + Corrections.

12. No outcome guarantees

Artist Tune-Up does not guarantee bookings, grants, jobs, income, audience growth, professional readiness, profile accuracy, legal or tax outcomes, uninterrupted service, or third-party conduct. Nothing here waives rights or duties that cannot legally be waived.

13. Liability + indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Artist Tune-Up and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of the service, third-party conduct, opportunity listings, booking relationships, or loss of data or access. Nothing here limits liability or rights that cannot legally be limited or waived.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Artist Tune-Up and its operator from third-party claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable costs arising from content you submit, your violation of these Terms, your infringement or misuse of another person's rights, or unlawful use of the service, except where applicable law does not permit indemnification.

14. Governing law + disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the District of Columbia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where applicable law requires otherwise. Unless a separate written agreement provides another lawful process, disputes relating to these Terms or the service may be brought in courts of competent jurisdiction in the District of Columbia.

15. Changes + contact

If a material change requires renewed acceptance, Artist Tune-Up will ask for it. Current version: beta-2026-10-07. Contact info@theartisttuneup.com with legal, privacy, or terms questions.
