ARTIST TUNE-UP / PRIVACY NOTICE

Privacy, in plain view.

This notice explains what Artist Tune-Up can use, what stays private by default, and which choices remain separate so a profile action does not silently become permission for something else.

CURRENT BETA NOTICE

These pages describe the rules, privacy choices, and reporting routes currently in effect for the beta. If a material change requires a new choice or acceptance, Artist Tune-Up will ask before treating that change as agreed.

Who is responsible

Artist Tune-Up is operated by Corey Fletcher. Privacy and rights questions can be sent to info@theartisttuneup.com.

What you provide

Depending on what you use, Artist Tune-Up may receive account details, profile fields, bios, portraits, screenshots, work samples, links, credits, services, opportunity activity, booking-request information, support messages, organization details, and other material you intentionally submit. If you use a payment feature, the payment provider may process payment details while Artist Tune-Up retains the transaction status or records needed to operate the service.

Information from other sources

Artist-provided or operator-provided public professional links, event and opportunity providers, partner information, public professional pages, and other public sources may be used to identify or organize a possible private artist draft. Publicly available does not mean automatically published in Artist Tune-Up.

Automatically collected information

The platform can process technical information needed to run and secure the service, such as device/browser information, sessions, timestamps, logs, telemetry, local-storage or cookie identifiers, feature use, and security events.

How information is used

  • Create and secure accounts and recover access.
  • Build and organize private artist records and drafts.
  • Verify identity and protect profile ownership.
  • Publish information only according to the artist's visibility choices.
  • Provide discovery, opportunities, request routing, support, troubleshooting, fraud prevention, rights handling, and performance measurement.
  • Improve and operate the service and comply with applicable obligations.

Automation + review

Automated tools may extract, classify, organize, summarize, or draft from supplied and supported professional sources. Results can be incomplete or wrong. Artist Tune-Up keeps correction and review routes available and does not treat automated output by itself as an artist's decision to publish.

Public information

Private record, direct-link publication, Artist Tune-Up Discover, and external search indexing are separate controls. Public information may be indexed, copied, cached, or retained by third parties after you later remove it. Artist Tune-Up cannot guarantee deletion from copies controlled by others.

Organizations + opportunities

Opportunity matching is not required for a private basic account. Nonpublic artist information is not treated as available to an organization merely because a match or relationship exists. Organizations can maintain their own legitimate program or relationship records without gaining access to an artist's private Tune-Up workspace.

Marketing

Account, security, and service messages are separate from promotional email or text. Creating an account, profile, attending an event, or providing a phone number is not treated as text-marketing consent. Optional marketing choices remain separate.

Retention + security

Artist Tune-Up uses access controls, authentication, logging, private-storage boundaries, backups, and incident procedures as part of its security baseline. Information is kept as needed to operate the service, maintain security and audit history, resolve active rights or support issues, and meet applicable obligations.

Retention + deletion timing

When you request account deletion, Artist Tune-Up aims to remove active account data within 30 days. Backup copies may take up to 90 days to age out where technically feasible. Information may be retained longer when reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, disputes, tax or accounting obligations, rights enforcement, or other legal requirements. Public copies controlled by third parties are outside Artist Tune-Up's control.

Your choices

You can use available controls to correct information, control publication, control Discover/indexing, export account data, unpublish, request deletion, and report privacy or rights problems. Marketing choices are separate. A disputed profile may be made private while identity, consent, safety, or rights are reviewed.

Children

The current beta is for people age 18 or older. If information about a child is submitted in error, use Rights + Corrections or contact the privacy address for review and removal.

Changes

If a material privacy change requires a new choice or acceptance, Artist Tune-Up will ask for it. Current version: beta-2026-10-07.
